Sarma among 25 IAS officers shifted

HYDERABAD: In a major bureaucratic shuffle, 25 IAS officers, including the Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation C. V. S. K. Sarma, have been transferred by the government on Saturday.

Dr. Sarma has been posted as Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration and Urban Development department, replacing S.P. Singh, who has been made the Commissioner and Special Officer, GHMC.

The government also shifted the Vizianagaram Collector B. Kishore and posted him as Secretary to Vigilance Commissioner. Krishna Joint Collector G. Ramanarayana Reddy will take charge as Vizianagaram Collector.

The Joint Collectors of Adilabad and East Godavari were also transferred.

Rachel transferred

Other senior IAS officers transferred include Rachel Chatterjee, A.K. Tigdi, A.K. Parida, Indrajit Pal, C.R. Biswal, D. R. Garg, J.R. Anand and J. C. Sharma.
