Relief centres for flood victims

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will be setting up relief collection centres for the flood victims of Bihar. This was announced by Delhi Mayor Arti Mehra on Friday. The relief collection centres would be set up at the Mayor’s residence in Timarpur as well as in all 12 zones of the civic body.

Ms. Mehra said the MCD would be sending its teams of doctors, public health workers and sanitation staff to assist the Bihar Government in relief operations. These teams would be carrying medicines, necessary equipment and material for distribution among the flood- affected people of the State.
