The host won two titles. The results (finals): Basketball: Boys: Bishop Cottons 41 (Adeep 18, Joshua 14) bt MAIS 20. Girls: MAIS 35 (Iravati Guha 9, Nupur 8) bt Bishop Cottons 24 (Neha 10). Road racesMore than 2000 runners from nearly 100 schools will take part in the 13th KPMG Independence Day road races, conducted by Bangalore Sports Club, on Sunday, August 31. Held exclusively for city schools, the races will be conducted in three age categories: under-11 (one km), under-14 (2 km) and under-16 (4 kms). Top ten finishers in each section will be given attractive cash prizes and certificates. Spot entries too will be accepted till 7.30 a.m on the day of the race.
