Christians protest

GULBARGA: Christians shut down educational institutions run by them in Gulbarga district and staged protests condemning violence on the Christians following the killing of a VHP activist and his three followers. All 17 educational institutions run by the Christian missionaries were shut down, and the teaching staff and the brothers and nuns of various churches took out a procession in the city and staged a day-long dharna outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
