Putzmeister Concrete to expand India operations

HYDERABAD: Putzmeister Concrete Machines Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of $1.5-billion Germany-based Putzmeister, plans to expand its India operations. The machines were used to place concrete ready-mix on the chosen floor at desired heights. Andrej Hrpot, Managing Director, said the investment in the first phase was Rs. 64 crore in its Goa facility, which would be expanded with Rs. 125 crore outlay in the second phase. The remaining three phases would be completed by 2012. — Special Correspondent
