Alto owners stretch the mile at car rally

HYDERABAD: To instil confidence among customers of Maruti Alto about its fuel efficiency, the ‘Alto Let’s Go Mileage Rally’ was organised in the city on Sunday.
Over 150 Alto customers participated in the rally where they covered 55 km along a pre-decided route running in and around the city.
The mileage of each participant was measured after the trip. While the average mileage was found to be 31.58 km per litre, it was 43.24 km per litre for the top ten winners, a release from Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hyderabad stated.
‘The Mileage King Award’ for the maximum mileage achieved went to K. Chandramouli while T. Srinivas Reddy and V. Venkateshwarulu bagged the second and third prizes respectively.
