Water release from Alisagar, Guthpa

HYDERABAD: The government has decided to release water from Alisagar and Guthpa to facilitate two wettings of the crops sown under the two projects. Major Irrigation Minister P. Lakshmaiah said water would be released from September 1 to serve 90,000 acres lying under its ayacut.
