Mohd. Shoeb VIJAYAWADA: Hotel Fortune Murali Park general manager Mohd. Shoeb, who received the Best General Manager award for 2007-08 from among the general managers of Fortune hotels by ITC Welcomgroup, on Wednesday attributed the hotel’s success in the last three years to the patronage extended by the local people and regular clientele and the efforts of the team working with him. Mr. Shoeb received the award from Suresh Kumar, president of Fortune Park Hotels by ITC Welcomgroup, at a glittering function held at Fortune Select Global in Gurgaon on August 16. Mr. Shoeb said at a press conference that the award was given on the basis of a ‘basic score card’, which includes various parameters like financial performance, maintenance and upkeep, staff welfare activities, corporate social responsibilities undertaken, guest satisfaction index. Mr. Shoeb said that the hotel, which was formally inaugurated on February 8, 2006, had firmly established itself in the city.
