Congress will bag 230 seats:YSR

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has claimed that the prevailing political scenario would enable the ruling party to bag 230 seats in the next elections.

The Congress Legislature Party meeting here on Wednesday ignored the launch of Praja Rajyam party of actor Chiranjeevi launched amid fanfare in Tirupati, with the Chief Minister avoiding any reference to it.

The only reference to the new party came from the APCC president D. Srinivas, who said the speech lacked punch. He advised the legislators not to indulge in unnecessary criticism.
