Evaluating quality and standard of education

Bangalore: Two retired government officials, who have a long association with the education sector, have jointly launched IQuity (Initiative for Quality) with an aim to improving the quality of education by providing research and consultancy services, assessment and evaluation programmes, and rate institutions. D. Jagannatha Rao, former director of Directorate of State Education Research and Training, and L. Nagaraja Murthy, former Director of Department of Vocational Education, who launched IQuity, saidhere n Tuesday that IQuity was an association of professionals and educationists.
