Doctors’ meet

DAVANGERE: Annual conference of the Otolaryngologists of Karnataka will be held here from August 29 to August 31 at the SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. The conference is being jointly organised by the JJM Medical College, the SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre and the Davangere ENT Surgeons Association.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, S.M. Siddalingappa, organising chairman, and A.M. Shivakumar, organising secretary, said that eminent surgeons and teaching staff from various parts of the country are taking part in the conference.

He said that live surgeries would be performed by eminent doctors to share and guide fellow doctors at the conference. Over 120 research papers would be submitted during the scientific session, apart from didactic lectures and panel discussions. There would be panel discussion on allergy, head and neck trauma.
