Bangalore: Sunil Joshi powered host KSCA XI into the semifinalS of the KSCA all-India invitation tournament. In the quarterfinal that concluded on the opening day itself at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the left-arm spinner’s seven-wicket haul helped KSCA XI bundle out Punjab CA for 147. Later, the hosts scored the winning runs in 41.4 overs. KSCA XI won by seven wickets. The scores: Punjab CA 147 in 60 overs (Sunny Sohal 41, Sunil Joshi seven for 24) lost to KSCA XI 148 for three in 41.4 overs (Amit Verma 51 n.o., C. Raghu 43 n.o.).
