Special buses to Veilankanni

CHENNAI: The State Express Transport Corporation is operating special buses to Veilankanni, in view of the festival, from Wednesday.

An SETC release stated that the buses would be operated from Chennai, Bangalore, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Nagercoil till September 10. Passengers could make reservations for onward and return journey. It would also operate services on contract basis for which ordinary, deluxe and ultra-deluxe buses would be provided. In order to help passengers the specials were also being operated from Chennai Egmore and Central railway stations.
