Vigilance raid

Sleuths of the Vigilance & Enforcement Department seized paddy and boiled rice estimated to cost about Rs. 4.7 crores from two rice mills on the city outskirts.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, V&E Superintendent of Police K. Muralidhar Rao said that following a tip-off, a raid was conducted on Balaji Rice Mill and Rajyalakshmi Rice Mill at Davuluru village near Kankipadu and their godowns at Chodaripet near Autonagar on Tuesday.
