Chiranjeevi’s birthday celebrated
The Chiranjeevi Seva Samakhya organised a rally and poor-feeding to mark the birthday of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi on Friday.
The rally began after pooja at the Sampath Vinayagar temple, according to samakhya convener Ch. Venkatramayya. The rally went to Adarshnagar via Jagadamba Junction, Siripuram, Pedawaltair and China Waltair where a cake was cut and ‘poor-feeding’ was organised. The rally proceeded to the Allu Ramalingaiah statue on the Beach Road where a large gathering was addressed by noted doctor S.V. Adinarayana Rao and Raghava Rao of the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. Another round of ‘annadanam’ followed.
