Bengali entertainment channel launched

KOLKATA: Star India Private Limited launched its first regional entertainment channel in Bengali, Star Jolsha, here on Thursday. It will provide an array of programmes – fiction, non-fiction, mythology, movies, reality shows.

Star India chief executive officer Uday Shankar said, “With Star Jolsha we plan to create a revolution in Bengali entertainment.”

J.C.Giri, regional channel head, Star India, said, “The channel will try to bring a new level of diversity to the world of entertainment.”
