Alwarpet Benefit Fund to issue cheques from September 1

8th instalment of five per cent of the principal amount

Chennai: The Alwarpet Benefit Fund will begin to issue cheques towards the eighth instalment of five per cent of the principal amount subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000 to savings and recurring deposit account holders on Monday.

According to a press release, the issue of cheques for fixed deposit holders would begin on September 1.

The cheques are dated 02.04.08 for savings and recurring deposits and 11.04.08 for fixed deposits and would be valid for six months.

The cheques would be delivered by courier in batches according to the membership numbers of the depositors. Cheques would not be given at the office of the the Alwarpet Benefit Fund, the release said.
