Confusion as results are reversed

AP

QINGDAO: British triumph and confusion reigned in the Sailing Star class final race here on Thursday. Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson won the fourth sailing gold for Great Britain. Brazil’s Scheidt and Prada took silver and Loof and Ekstrom of Sweden won bronze, but there was confusion after the race. The Swedes believed they had won silver when information screens reversed the medal race finishing positions, only some minutes later their result was corrected.
