Action against club

Thiruvananthapuram: The Corporation has fined Trivandrum Club Rs.9,000 after it found the club guilty of irresponsibly dumping eight truck loads of garbage near Injackal on the National Highway by-pass. The Corporation Health Squad removed the rotting garbage from the main thoroughfare. The Corporation said it will take stringent action on those who dispose garbage in an irresponsible and unscientific manner.
