COIMBATORE: Mayor R. Venkatachalam distributed dictionaries to 150 students of Siddhapudur Corporation Higher Secondary School recently. It was part of the Corporation’s efforts to enhance the quality of education in Corporation schools through spoken English courses.

It proposes to do the same in a phased manner by giving dictionaries to all the students in Corporation schools.

Chairman of the Corporation’s Standing Committee on Education R. Kalyanasundaram, committee members and Corporation Education Officer W. Robert Karunakaran took part.
