Nijin hits hundred

Chennai: Nijin scored 110 as Districts-I reached 278 for the loss of seven wickets at the end of day one of its districts under-19 pre-round-robin match against Districts-II here on Tuesday.

The scores: Districts-I 278 for seven in 90 overs (Nijin 110, Vignesh Pathy 36) vs. Districts-II.

Districts-III 270 for four in 90 overs (A. Aarif 42, D. Ramachandran 67, Muhilazhakan 86 n.o., Venkatapathy 25) vs. Districts-IV.
