SWR, ASC post wins

BANGALORE: South Western Railway (SWR) with Imtiaz and Vinod spiking hard and deep rolled past former champion Postal 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 26-24 in an ‘A’ division men’s match in the State volleyball league at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium outdoor courts here on Tuesday.

Army Service Corps (ASC) registered its second straight win with a 25-18, 25-21, 28-26 verdict over Jindal Steel Works (Bellary) in another match.

Rajesh and Divya Prasad played well for the Army unit while Vishwanath and Pramod did their bit for the loser.
