HYDERABAD: The 56th National squash championship, to be organised at the Secunderabad Club here from Tuesday, is expected to see emerging young players trying to make an impact. Defending champion Saurav Ghosal, Ritwik Bhattacharya and Siddarth Suchde will be vying for honours in the men’s section, while the young talent comprising Naresh Kumar and Harinderpal Singh are expected to pose a serious challenge. All these players have the experience of taking part in several PSA tournaments and are coming into this event after a structured and rigorous training schedule. In the women’s category, Joshna Chinappa is the clear favourite with some challenge expected to come from junior National champion Dipika Pallikal, former junior National champion Anwesha Reddy and Surbhi Misra. — Principal Correspondent
