JNUSU strike continues

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The indefinite hunger strike by the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union to protest against the alleged “anomalies” in the implementation of reservation for the Other Backward Classes in this year’s admission process entered the ninth day on Monday.

Addressing a press conference, JNUSU president Sandeep Singh, who along with two others has been on a fast since last 10 days, charged that despite their deteriorating condition, the administration had “refused to respond to the demands of the students”.
