Thrissur
Thrissur: The Town West police on Sunday arrested four persons on charges of having burgled the godown of a sports store at Kanattukara. The arrested were Manikantan, Rajan, Mariappan and Manian, natives of Tamil Nadu. Owners of three shops on Pattalam road that allegedly bought stolen goods from the gang were also taken into custody. The Town East police on Sunday arrested five persons when they were allegedly attempting to break into houses in Patturaikkal.
