Robbed at knife-point

CHENNAI: The collection agent of a company engaged in making pickles was allegedly robbed at knife-point at Tirumangalam here on Thursday night.

Police said Ganesan (57) of Kolathur was returning home on a bicycle when a two-member gang intercepted him. They brandished knives and snatched his cash bag containing Rs.15,000.

A special team has been formed to investigate the case, police added.
