Calicut University Qualification: The qualification required for the post of lecturer in journalism at the Department of Mass Communication is a pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission. Candidates who have secured an MPhil degree in the subject before December 31, 1993 and obtained a PhD or submitted thesis for the doctoral degree before December 31, 2002, have been exempted from NET qualification. M.A. History Viva Voce: The viva voce of the final M.A. History scheduled to be held on August 20 is postponed to August 27. There is no change in the examination centre or timings of the examination. Seat vacant: A seat is vacant in the SC/ST category for the first semester MSc Statistics course at the Department of Statistics. Those interested should reach the department with certificates at 11 a.m. on August 18. B.Sc. Biotechnology practical: The second year B.Sc. Biotechnology (main) and Bio praxis Technology (subsidiary) practical examination will be held at various centres on August 25. Detailed time table is available at the examination centres.
