BSIT moves into the pre-quarterfinals

HYDERABAD: Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology (BSIT) recorded a 41-run win over SV College to enter the pre-quarterfinals of the BSIT inter-Engineering cricket tournament at Chevella, near here on Wednesday.

The scores: SSJT 95 for six lost to VJSIT 96 for two (Raju 39, Rahul 33); BSIT 98 for four bt SV College 57 for seven.

Basketball selection

The Ranga Reddy District Basketball Association will organise selection trials on August 14 and 15 at the NPA Shivrampally for boys and girls to pick the district teams for the inter-District championship in Gudiwada from August 21 to 24.

Wasif wins title

Wasif Hassan won the men’s trap event with a score of 16 out of 25 in the Hyderabad district open shooting championship at the SAAP Ranges in Central University, here.
