Jeev rises in rankings

New Delhi: The top-10 finish at last week’s U.S. PGA Championships has propelled Jeev Milkha Singh to 59th in the latest World golf rankings.

Jeev finished tied ninth at the championship to become the first Indian to finish among the top 10 at a Major, resulting in a seven-place improvement in his rankings. Jeev’s previous best ranking was 37th in 2006.

He is currently 14th (€1,014,938) on the European Tour Order of Merit and second ($540,694) on the Asian Tour Order of Merit. — PTI
