PALAKKAD: Government Victoria College here was closed indefinitely due to clashes between Akhila Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Students Federation of India (SFI) activists on Wednesday. Destruction of flags and boards of the unions had led to the clashes. The district committee office of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in front of the college was pelted with stones. Both the outfits took out demonstrations through the town in the evening. — Staff Reporter
