Special events at Srirangapatna

MYSORE: Special programmes to mark the 150th year of India’s freedom struggle will be held at Srirangapatna between August 15 and 17. The events are being organised in memory of Tipu Sultan.

“Neneyo Aa Janava”, sound-and-light show on the occasion of Independence Day, will be organised at the stadium here for three days from August 15 by the Music and Drama Division of the Centre. An exhibition of rare photographs that depict important events of the freedom struggle will be organised at the stadium, according to a press release.
