THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The water level in three major reservoirs in the State increased during the week which ended on August 11 when compared to the previous week. According to figures released by the Central Water Commission on Tuesday, the water level in Idukki went up by 5.86 ft, that of Kallada by 3.67 ft and that of Idmalayar by 7.54 ft. The water level in the three reservoirs stood at 2,326 ft, 336.45 ft and 475.75 ft respectively. They are lower than what they were this time last year. —Special Correspondent
