Bhubaneswar: Dubbing as ‘unfortunate’ the response of Union Chemical and Fertilizer Minister Ram Vilas Paswan to his demand for more fertilizers for farmers, Orissa Agriculture Minister Surendranath Nayak on Sunday said he would personally go to Delhi to seek more fertilizers for the State. Mr. Nayak, wrote a letter to Mr. Paswan on July 22 seeking more fertilizers, expressed dismay over ‘one word reply’ from the Union Minister. “I received a reply from Mr. Paswan saying he had received my letter,” he said adding there was no assurance from the Union Minister to the State. Mr. Paswan’s letter neither said ‘yes’ to his demand nor refused allotment of more fertilizers for the State, he said. -PTI
