Big win for Kurnool
VIJAYAWADA: Kurnool scored an emphatic ten-wicket victory over Nellore in the ACA South Zone under-16 inter-district cricket tournament at Anantapur on Saturday.
The scores: Chittoor 124 and 66 for nine in 46.3 overs (Jagadish Kumar three for four, Naren Reddy three for 35) drew with Kadapa 283 in 80.4 overs (Jagadish Kumar 97, Gowtham Reddy 78, Surya three for 31).
Kurnool 247 and 12 for no loss in 0.5 over bt Nellore 63 in 28. 3 overs (Rana Pratap four for 13, Sharan Babu two for 14) and 195 in 796.3 overs (Phani Raja 45, Sharan Babu three for 35).
