Painting contest

Kozhikode: Uni-Y, a wing of the YMCA, proposes to organise a painting programme for students of the educational institutions in the capital city in connection with Independence Day. The programme will start a week before I-Day. The work will be exhibited in the YMCA Hall on August 15. It is also planning to organise poetry and essay competitions in English and Malayalam and a painting a competition on I-Day. — Special Correspondent
