The two companies will conduct seminars Some 750 students are likely to participate VISAKHAPATNAM: A three-day national-level students meet -Vector ’08 - will be conducted from Monday to Wednesday by the Association of Computer Intellects (AsCI) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering at the latter’s premises. Soliver was recruiting the students every year and the number was being increased, she added. Convenor of Vector ’08 D. Saritha said this was the third consecutive year the event was being held. The response was tremendous with as many as 1,800 papers were received out of which 150 were selected for presentation due to time constraints. There would be a technical quiz, hardware and software display, poster presentation, HR rounds, online gaming, documentary, IPL cricket quiz and cultural contests. Some 750 students were expected to participate in the meet, she said. GVP secretary P. Somaraju, principal of the college N.S.V.V.S.J. Gandhi, co-convenor C. Srinivas, and others were present.
