Two persons killed

TAMBARAM: Two youths were killed in accidents in Tambaram on Thursday.
D. Muthuraman (25) of Perambalur, working as construction worker with a contractor in West Tambaram, died when he was hit by a State government bus at the intersection of Mudichur and Grand Southern Trunk Roads in West Tambaram.
Bus driver Ramesh Babu (42) of Tirukoyilur was arrested. In the evening, D. James Santhosh (20) died after he came under the wheels of a tipper lorry at Rajakilpakkam on Velachery Main Road. A resident of Tiruvanchery near Tambaram, he was riding a motorcycle and was first hit by a speeding car. He fell off his bike and was run over by the lorry. The lorry driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. James was a student of a private computer training centre.
