BANGALORE: St. Germain’s scored a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Sarla Birla Academy in the T. Shanmugham Memorial inter-school hockey tournament here on Monday. Ashley Arvin (7th, 11th and 16th) scored a hat-trick and A.K. Ponappa (24th) and Karthik Raja (59th) added to the tally. Abhay Jalan (29th), Bharata (44th) and Parth Talaviya (55th) scored for Sarla Birla Academy. In another match, Bishop Cotton’s High School and Ramakrishna High School played out a goalless draw.
