U.S. downturn to hit India: Tata

MUMBAI: The economic downturn in the U.S., the world’s largest economy, is likely to eventually affect India, Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata said on Monday. “The economic downturn (in U.S.) is hitting Europe and will eventually affect us here,” Mr. Tata said, while replying to questions at the 69th annual general meeting of Tata Chemicals.
