BBMP polls: notice to EC

BANGALORE: Former Mayor P.R. Ramesh on Monday, sent a notice to the State Election Commission asking it to hold elections to Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike within a fortnight from today. The notice said that though the Karnataka High Court on July 2, 2008, had directed the EC and State to hold elections, no action had been taken so far.
