Education bandh

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Students’ Union is organising an education bandh on Tuesday. The State committee of the organisation said here on Monday that it was press the demand for the withdrawal of the controversial Class VII textbook and to protest against the wrong education policies of the government.

The University of Kerala has postponed all examinations, including practical and viva, scheduled on August 5. A press note said here on Monday that the fresh dates for these examinations would be announced later.
