KOLLAM: The Rationalist Association of India has decided to distribute 10 lakh copies of the controversial Class VII Social Science lesson ‘Mathamillatha Jeevan.’ The exercise is in protest against the alterations over the lesson, the burning of the textbook containing the lesson in Malappuram and the death of a teacher during a protest demonstration against the lesson. General secretary of the association Pattathanam Sreeni said the inauguration of the distribution of the copies would be held on August 9 at the Public Library Hall here. The distribution will be launched by scientist K.S. Davies.
