VIJAYAWADA: The Anti-Goonda Squad of the city police on Saturday raided a house at Ajit Singh Nagar and seized 60 bags of Multi Therapy Food (MTF) meant for supplying to children under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). Each bag contained 20 kg of the MTF. The police found the house owner Dogiparthi Prasad feeding the powder to his buffalos. He told the police that he procured the powder from different anganwadi centres in the city. The police handed over the bags to the ICDS officials, who in turn, began an enquiry into the incident.
