VIJAYAWADA: A two-day national convention of women teachers will be held at Tummalapallivari Kshetrayya Kalakshetram in the city on August 24 and 25. The programme is being organised by the School Teachers’ Federation of India (STFI) to focus on problems of women teachers and girl students across the country. On behalf of the STFI, the Andhra Pradesh United Teachers’ Federation (APUTF) is making arrangements for the programme, in which thousands of delegates are expected to participate from different parts of the country. Lagadapati Rajagopal, MP and honorary chairman of the reception committee, released posters and pamphlets relating to the programme .
