Yohaan, Kanika clinch titles

NEW DELHI: Yohaan of Sriram School and Kanika Kanwal of host ASN Senor Secondary School (Mayur Vihar) won the boys’ and girls’ under-10 titles in the fourth ASN Delhi State inter-school badminton tournament at the Karnail Singh Stadium here.

The results (finals):

Boys: Under-19: AGDAV School (Model Town) bt Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (Ludlow Castle No. 1) 2-0.

Under-16: Air Force Bal Bharati School (Lodhi Road) bt Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (Ludlow Castle No. 1) 2-0.

Under-13: Bal Bharati School (Rohini) bt ASN SSS 2-1.

Girls: Under-19: SSLT Gujarati Senior Secondary School (Raj Niwas) bt Apeejay School (Pitampura) 2-0.

Under-16: Holy Child School (Tagore Garden) bt Modern School (Barakhamba Road) 2-1.

Under-13: Bal Bharati School (Rohini) bt ASN SSS 2-1.

Individual event: Under-10: Boys: Yohaan bt Siddhant 21-10, 17-21, 21-18.

Girls: Kanika Kanwal bt Diana Baruah 21-11, 21-7. — Special Correspondent
