Tractors for hire

KARUR: Tractors would be made available to farmers for agricultural operations on rental basis in all the blocks of Karur district, according to Collector T.N. Venkatesh.
Those interested should register their names along with relevant details with the respective offices of the Assistant Directors of Agriculture and priority would be accorded on a first-come-first basis.
Lauding the move as beneficial, farmers however have urged the district administration to consider providing implements such as the disc plough for the farmers to get the maximum benefits.
