Tulu festival

KASARAGOD: The Kerala Tulu Academy will organise Karkkidakom month festival at Kumbala on August 3, academy chairman P. Venkataraja Puninchithaya said. The festival named ‘Attida Aayano Kadje’ will be held at Syndicate Bank Hall, Kumbala. Senior journalist Malar Jayarama Rai will inaugurate the festival at 1.30 p.m. The inaugural meeting will be followed by programmes including a recital of Tulu folk songs. The programme is the first programme of Tulu Academy. —Staff Reporter
