KOZHIKODE: The nurses-cum-pharmacists course offered at the Koyilandy Allopathy Hospital is not up to the mark, the State committee of the Nurses and Pharmacists Welfare Association has said. The institution does not have the basic facilities, the committee noted. The nurses’ forum also wanted the recognition accorded to the course conducted by the Sharada Hospital withdrawn forthwith. The State committee meeting held here on Thursday said the course was being conducted without expert teachers and laboratory facilities. Students of two batches were awaiting sanction to write the examination. Under the circumstances the course ought to be wound up, the meeting noted.
