Medical insurance cards given

TIRUVARUR: Collector M. Chandrasekaran distributed medical insurance identity cards to 176 Government employees of Tiruvarur district here.

This is one of the pilot schemes implemented by Government with the help of Star Medical Insurance Corporation. The cards contain the details of employees, number of family members, photo of the employee and a particular number.

Guides have been issued to the employees regarding the scheme. Doubts about the scheme can be clarified by calling the toll-free number 1800 4252 620.

The Collector appealed to the employees to make use of the scheme.
