NAMAKKAL: The district administration conducted a special training programme for the booth-level officers here recently.Participating in the programme, Collector U. Sagayam called upon the officers to ensure accuracy in the preparation of photo electoral rolls (after delimitation).The officers should carry out a door-to-door exercise to verify the details in the electoral rolls. They should focus more on the voters who had shifted their residence and absentees.
The officers should carry the forms for inclusion, deletion, correction and change of address during the verification exercise. They can collect the forms from the respective Tahsildar offices, he said. Senior officials were present in the meeting.
